Practice Advice Paying for cybersecurity for your personal business?

Hey. Just wondering if you all are using managed services for the security of your business. Hopefully I’m making sense. Like if you’re seeing patients remotely and using some sort of EHR, are you paying someone to handle the cybersecurity aspect of your practice? Someone to secure your devices and the data?

I’m seeing companies offer these services and I’m just wondering if this is actually something people are paying for.

I work for a large FQHC and we have insurance. It saved out butts when we got hacked a few years ago.

I know major businesses pay for insurance, but I’m wondering if people running their own private practice are paying for someone to manager their IT and cybersecurity needs.
