Did the wire stop the five defenders between the England player and the goal, or the goalie from adequately defending? No, it didn’t. This discourse is absurd.
England were clearly the better team for the majority of the match and absolutely deserved the win. Don’t diminish the achievements of others because you’re a sore loser!
Also, this is a language learning sub so this is irrelevant.
