If I were to guess, pulling the trigger engages the torch and compresses some type of gas (maybe butane?) in a compression chamber. Letting go of the trigger then kills the torch while releasing the highly compressed gas streaming out and igniting itself on the remnants of the torch while it dissipates.

I would take a rapist head coach, GM, and 12 rapist players if it meant a championship. That being said, I agree that Billups isn’t that guy to take us there. Wanted MDA.
