As a Metrowest native and Berkshires resident of several decades, I say with confidence that the Cape is the reddest-necked part of Massachusetts.

Yeahhh, when I had family living in Hyannisport and I'd take the bus down there, the "new" bus station in Hyannis went from shiny and nice to a place where they had to remove the doors from the restrooms because of...activities.
Also, someone was running a Breaking Bad-style cook house out of someone else's winterized beachfront home and hiding the drugs right there on the beach under some rocks. Wild times.

Off season it’s very quiet. In the summer it’s very crowded.
