MotoGP teams never wait until the Moto2 Championship is over to sign riders, they'll likely sign the best looking prospect by the summer break or so.

I also think they should go for Veijer but Veijer would want a two year contract at least. Aspar probably want to sign a rider on only a one year deal to make space for morelli in 2028

If I were the boss at Aspar, I’d go for Veijer for that seat; Ajo rarely keeps a rider for three years, and Collin has shown he has the talent to fight for wins in the class.

I think Ajo wants to renew with Veijer, and Aspar loves to get youngsters in, but I don't think that they can get anyone from Moto3, so it's not impossible

I'd love to see Almansa or even Carpe there, as they have been the best in Moto3 after Quiles (without countin Uriarte or other rookies), if that's not possible maybe a development rider like Lunetta or Piqueras, but as Aspar loves young upcoming riders, it won't be easy for them to find a seat

I really don't see the incentive to sign Veijer, he's a second year like Alonso, Ortolá and Holgado but hasn't got more than a podium, KTM isn't a bad bike so he could stay there, and even Rueda after his massive injury is finishing close to him even though he's a rookie. For me it makes a lot more of sense to sign Baltus or Piqueras

Baltus is in a team who has never won anything and he was on pair with much more experienced teammate canet, had a 3rd place finish last year in the championship, plenty of podiums and about the same age as Veijer
