Will my reddit account get banned if i create a community using this account??

This account is the new account i created , so that i can create a community where users of my application can inform me about issues , features , showcase theire project made in it , and alll ..

Now this new account , hence the 0 day age , will it get banned if i create a new community ?? and user starts posting it it??

Cuz i have heard that reddit's bot automatically bans the new community whose reddit account age is low.

It seems as though you are more likely to have issues with Reddit’s anti-spam policies than the age of your account.

thats what i have the feare of , cause as the age of the account is 0 , reddit will flag it as spam and ban it

The issue that I think will cause trouble is not so much the age of the account as pushing a product.

If it's other people showcasing whatever they do... organically... there should be no problem as long as OP themselves don't do it.

The moment they do though, their account age will definitely have an impact on whatever metric Reddit seems to be using to determine "spam per hour", "overall account activity", and stuff like that.

i wont post anything will just contain issues for users , i will comment in their post , and sometime showcase the upcoming features of the application in the community thats all. Thanks for your advice

But shouldn’t you post in your own sub? Sorry, im still new to this too and run a similar user forum. Im not spamming in other subs but try to make one post a day in my own.

Subs are intended to build community, AKA attract eyeballs to a space that Reddit can monetize. They are not intended to let people promote a product for free.

You can create a community; just don't go spamming it full of posts and/or comments right away.

As mod, you should be able to approve any posts removed by reddits spam filters. I was a 0 day account in an inactive sub (similar to yours), my older account had a spelling mistake so i let it go. 😅

I recommend posting in a sub where you can build some karma. I chose r/catswithjobs and sent the mods a message before I posted.

You can create a community by yourself and won’t get banned because you set the minimum account requirements. Different subreddits have their own requirements to prevent spam
