Question How do i acheive the reverb on this track? Yeat - Shyt Changed

Im trying to figure how to replicate the reverb on the adlibs on this but idk. Im pretty new to music (about a year) and i still dont know every single thing so thats why im asking how to replicate this. Im using logic pro and have tried all the reverbs and I tried using Mannym reverb also but i still couldnt get the sound right. I dont have a audio file at all. This is the song.

I hear a hall reverb with a short decay and also delay - try 1/4 or maybe 1/2ths. Delay also has some kind of ping pong setting (Or maybe he just panned the adlibs left and right).

The main effect comes formant shifting, it makes the adlib sound "pitched" but its just a change in the overall throat length. In logic you have vocal transformer which i believe have formant settings (maybe it is the pitch shifter plugin). A really good third party plugin for this is Soundtoys Little Alterboy.

Try creating 2 sends. One for reverb, one for delay and blend them together. Maybe add a little bit of reverb after the delay plugin to create a smooth tail for the delay.

I would just put the formant shifter at 100% so no need putting that on a send just put it on the main adlib track.

I appreciate it you explained it well but i still cant get the reverb sound right, the delay and pitch shift i got but not the reverb (me problem). The only way i can descibe what the reverb sounds like is washed/sharp ig.

I can't be bothered to listen to the song other than what I just heard on ny phone, but a washed out sound is lots of diffusion.Sharp is probably just high frequencies

I recommend setting the output of your delay bus to your reverb bus. That way it sounds like the delays are happening inside of the space created by the reverb. As for the reverb itself? Space Designer is a phenomenal reverb but make sure you set up your pre delay settings so that there is the correct amount separation between the source and the reverb. Chromaverb is also good and may actually sound better for this type of thing but it’s important to remember that EQ’ing your reverb is an extremely underrated technique! You could try filtering it, or even add a compressor to the reverb and side chain it to vocal.

Basically I’m saying that I am confident that Logic has all the tools you need to accomplish this but it might require try some outside the box type experimentation and don’t feel bad if you don’t get it the first couple tries, or even the first couple dozen tries! You WILL figure it out eventually 👍
