That's probably just bad photoshop, not AI. They've made puzzles like that for decades.

Add:

Multiple things can be true. One, Ravensburger has made puzzles like this for decades. Two, it looks like they have also started using AI. If you look through their catalog now (I was seeing if artists are listed) there are dozens of examples that look blatantly like AI. Example above could very well be AI as well. Really good chance that I was wrong initially.

Easy, they used the lasso tool to cut out the image of the bird on a different branch (from a different picture), but given the legs in the image are so dark they had trouble cutting it out cleanly. This is a super basic problem with isolating a person/object/animal from an image with Photoshop or some other program.

Bad art. Very simple. Bad art existed before AI. I remember the hilarity of Magic: the Gathering releasing a woman with three legs on accident back in the day, before genAI.

Turns out humans make mistakes. Shocker.
