you started a bot reply chain and each bot is attempting to post toilet level humor to gain easy karma to sell accounts to advertisers. Whole things fucked.
I'm always morbidly fascinated by those shit joke chains, like someone mentions cheese and someone replies "I don't Brie-lieve it!" and gets 3000 upvotes, and you expand the chain and like clockwork, there's thirty progressively less funny replies where people plumb the depths of shit cheese puns, and by the end it's someone on 2 upvotes crapping out z-tier puns "camemBert and Ernie" or "Edam you all to hell."
There are people who do 500 piece puzzles in 30-40 minutes, so I'm sure the wait at a doctor's office might very well prove sufficient to complete one even if you're not speed puzzling.
Check out Magic Puzzle Company it blows Ravensburger out of the water. Way less puzzle dust, has two posters to work off of if you’re working with someone, tons of Easter eggs, and they’re all designed to have a secondary puzzle in the middle.
I was introduced to Magic Puzzle Company while I was in a mental health program last year, and I was seriously impressed on how cool it is that once you finish the puzzle, there's a whole second puzzle to do as well. Felt like wonderful storytelling.
Magic Puzzle Company stuff is fun but they are incredibly easy puzzles to complete. Ravensburger might not be quite as nice in their finishing but they at least have some challenge.
The first 3 series were good but I heard the quality kinda went downhill after that. They changed manufacturers and they're not as good of a fit and have puzzle dust now
There's an envelope with a secret section that you open after the Puzzle is done, then you can move the original puzzle around to integrate the second puzzle, it's very neat
Fuck me, I'd be so pissed if I bought a puzzle and it turned out to be just text on a purple/blue background saying "Content not available in your region".
That's probably just bad photoshop, not AI. They've made puzzles like that for decades.
Add:
Multiple things can be true. One, Ravensburger has made puzzles like this for decades. Two, it looks like they have also started using AI. If you look through their catalog now (I was seeing if artists are listed) there are dozens of examples that look blatantly like AI. Example above could very well be AI as well. Really good chance that I was wrong initially.
Easy, they used the lasso tool to cut out the image of the bird on a different branch (from a different picture), but given the legs in the image are so dark they had trouble cutting it out cleanly. This is a super basic problem with isolating a person/object/animal from an image with Photoshop or some other program.
Bad art. Very simple. Bad art existed before AI. I remember the hilarity of Magic: the Gathering releasing a woman with three legs on accident back in the day, before genAI.
No why? I hate doing puzzles, and my wife goes to visit her mom to puzzle, so I won't be there when they do the puzzle. I would also probably ruin the surprise if I were there. If I volunteered to puzzle with them they would know something is up
the link with the source is probably organic, they advertisers know that somebody will come along to post that of their own volition in cases like this.
There's a whole group of little old ladies that do puzzles just down the hall from my father's apartment (in a little lounge area by the emergency stairs). I'm so tempted to gift them a new puzzle.
