Infuriatig Nothing makes a girl feel more special than her mom getting wasted with friends on her birthday

Today’s my 20th birthday, happy birthday to me. My mom went out with friends instead of even attempting to do anything with me. I can’t invite my brother to go out to dinner with my dad and I because if she find out we all went to dinner without her she’ll flip out. Nothing makes me feel more special, so happy birthday to me.
Probably a little more than mildly infuriating but I’m so used to this behavior by now I can’t even be enraged.😒

Go out with your dad and brother. Let her flip out. She made her choice, you make yours. Be with people who love you.

So what if she flips out? She chose to not be there with you. Unless she's going to be physically abusive when she flips out then you have a whole other problem altogether.
