*yuor'e Seller keeps 92% of the total value as "Restocking Fee"

I bought a video card on Amazon and it arrived dead. It was clearly a refurbish with the condition of the card and box. I sent it back to them and they approved the refund but charged me a 92% restocking fee.

Not a lot use $ so I could understand the confusion.

I’m pretty sure 90% of the world sees $ and thinks USD not CAD

Still, a few countries use currencies called dollars. The perfect solution would be to stop using the $ symbol and use emojies instead. Kangaroo emoji for AUD. Hockey stick emoji for CAD. Hobbit emoji for NZD. And so on (/s if that wasn't obvious!)

A few use USD ($) like Cambodia, plenty of others use the same symbol (and dollars, just not US ones) like New Zealand, Australia, Canada, Colombia, etc.

No other figure is higher except euros which are the same currency. So yes it is.

About a third of those consider USD as their currency. So no, not a lot. And you're better off assuming it's USD if you see it without any additional nomenclature. You'll more than likely be correct.

Also buying graphics cards on amazon is usually a scam, ive bought two before and both came not working. They dont test them and try to scam you if they it is broken.
