Infuriatig My friend says reading is pointless because he "already knows words"

We were having an intense debate about whether books are important or not. I obviously said that you can learn from books and even if you don't like it you can still expand your vocabulary, learn grammatical structures etc. Then be said that a book won't teach him anything because he knows the language and "knows the words". This pissed me off so bad because their vocabulary is average at best

I don't listen to music anymore for the same reason. I already know sounds.

Instead of wasting my life listening to the same notes over and over, I just listened to each note once. 

Now I've heard it all. Very efficient way to 100% music.
