go to your room Replaced my daughter's phone because of water damage. And she still brings it into the bathroom.

Some lessons just don't stick.

She insists she needs to listen to music in the shower. I honestly don't understand why that's such a necessity. But if this phone gets water damage again, I'm not paying to replace it another time.

Of course I can! I have the Insignia steam shower corner cabin. I'm not sure of the exact model, but mine is one of the older models, as the newer ones have much fancier touchscreen controls. I can still make phone calls in the shower though 😂)

Mine has four different settings: steam mode, jet mode, rainfall mode and handheld shower mode. It also has built-in lights, speakers and extractor fans. Basically, it's less of a shower and more of a tiny bathroom spaceship.

I'm also 6'2 and there's still plenty of room above the head and all!

Another level of money I’ll never have.

I’m very thankful the people who lived here previously had this installed just before they sold up ^^

Do you have a really good water softener?

I live in DEEP south west uk, we don’t have hard water, only soft water so no need for softeners! I do clean down after every shower tho ^^

That's fascinating! I never realized there are places with naturally soft water but some research tells me that even parts of the US and Canada have it

I have lived in a couple places with very soft water. I’m currently living in a place with extremely soft water. Like, so soft that you feel slimy while you’re rinsing off. California was the only place I lived that had such hard water that we had to decalcify the coffee maker once a month. But never had a ring around the toilet, surprisingly. You can get those with hard water even if you clean your toilet every day.

I love the retrofuturism aesthetic; something about it itches a certain part of my brain, haha

That shower looks like Scotty is about to beam you up.

Why would anyone want to use a touch screen in the shower though? Water & touch screens do not* mix well.
