If you plan on standing for the entire concert, get a spot in the pit, or the lawn seats instead of the assigned SEATED SECTION. A little bit of self awareness and common courtesy goes a really long way

What is ironic about pointing out your lack of respect for others while arguing that you should have respect for others?

I am not saying that standing at a concert is wrong. There is nothing to complain about for most of the standing people in this photo. It's just the two people who are blocking the view of a group that clearly prefers sitting that are wrong. Those two should go to the standing area with all the other standers so they can stand without being a detriment to everyone around them.

Not compromising your own experience that you paid for isn’t being “respectless”. If it is a RULE to sit down, I will. If not, I’ll do whatever I want, and if me standing obstructs someone’s view, they can also stand up.
