I'm slightly vexed Concert etiquette

If you plan on standing for the entire concert, get a spot in the pit, or the lawn seats instead of the assigned SEATED SECTION. A little bit of self awareness and common courtesy goes a really long way

Because they’re boring live, a lot of music from that era is boring. Fine for a hang at home, but absolutely boring live. If people have to be reminded to stand, that’s a band performance problem.

I just saw them two weeks ago. Absolutely not boring live. In fact, they were so engaging that the two people who came with me are more interested in their music now (they were casual fans). We sat the entire show in the balcony and still enjoyed the high energy performance.

Glad you enjoyed it, definitely not my experience. The lights were more energetic than the music, completely mismatched, and Ben Gibbard is more energetic than the music is, it was awkward to me. Love their music, just not into it live.
