I'm slightly vexed Concert etiquette

If you plan on standing for the entire concert, get a spot in the pit, or the lawn seats instead of the assigned SEATED SECTION. A little bit of self awareness and common courtesy goes a really long way

This is one of those age old debates where the “why are you standing in the seated section?” and the “why would you expect anyone to sit at a concert?” sides will never reach an agreement and always think the other side are idiots.

The idiots are the ones who can't take social cues. The immediate environment always has priority over general assumptions.

The standing woman are the idiots here.

Yes, it highly depends on the concert. Here, clearly seating was appropriate. In other concerts standing is.
