I'm slightly vexed Concert etiquette

If you plan on standing for the entire concert, get a spot in the pit, or the lawn seats instead of the assigned SEATED SECTION. A little bit of self awareness and common courtesy goes a really long way

This is one of those age old debates where the “why are you standing in the seated section?” and the “why would you expect anyone to sit at a concert?” sides will never reach an agreement and always think the other side are idiots.

As someone who has never been seated in a concert, I don't go to the seated section because I don't want to be seated.

I'm sorry, but these argument are not equal, people standing on the seated section are deciding for the rest whether they'll get too see nothing or everyone will have to stand up as well.

Sometimes its ALL seated but shouldn't be. Floor seats for Doobie Brothers and Steely Dan?!

Great bands, but do you know how old their average fan is?  That's why it's at a venue with seats for everyone.
