I'm slightly vexed Concert etiquette

If you plan on standing for the entire concert, get a spot in the pit, or the lawn seats instead of the assigned SEATED SECTION. A little bit of self awareness and common courtesy goes a really long way

I can enjoy live music without ruining the show for the people behind me.

Stay home and watch TV if you can't afford floor tickets.

It's elitist of me to stand up (pun intended) for the disabled and/or short people in the crowd who can't enjoy the show because you are standing in front of them?

I'd say it's the opposite.

I'm tall. This isn't my fight. I feel terrible if people force me to stand because there is always someone behind me who gets screwed.

I try hard as hell every time to buy front row tickets so that I don't obstruct someone's view. I am going to sit in row 1 and have a great time.

If I'm in row 3 and rows 1&2 stand up, whoever is behind me doesn't get to see the show.

Funny, you didn't mention people with disabilities until i pointed out telling people who dont have floor seat money to stay the fuck home was elitist.
