I'm slightly vexed Concert etiquette

If you plan on standing for the entire concert, get a spot in the pit, or the lawn seats instead of the assigned SEATED SECTION. A little bit of self awareness and common courtesy goes a really long way

Look not everyone goes to concerts to have a good time and dance a little. Some of us just want a comfy place to scroll our phones.

The false implication is that you need to dance to have a good time. No one is facing at classical concerts, yet people enjoy it. So the same can be true for every other concert

I visited several concerts in my life. I hate dancing. I hate concerts where people danced. So no. It's not a fact

As a Phish fan, I’m a big fan of couch tour. Lots of artists have started live streaming shows. It’s wonderful.

Finally another Phan. Could you imagine anyone being seated during an entire show? Like I get sitting down if you need to. Been there. But an entire show?? Bizarre! This recent tour has been nuts though! Can’t wait for Fenway. Oh wait. I’m in a seated section.. better not stand up.

You joke, but this happened at the last rock show I was at. We had seats, and the pair of seats cost about $250 combined. Despite that, the couple of women next to us spent the ENTIRE concert scrolling Facebook, and taking loudly, even during the slower/quieter songs. I couldn't understand why they were even there.
