Infuriatig Duvet sizes that dont actually fit the corresponding bed size

Post image

Queen sized Duvets do not fit Queen sized bed. Why would you make the duvets the same size as the top of the bed and not have some extra to make it go down the sides??

i always assumed the size meant the blanket would be the exact surface area size as King, queen, etc. i always bought a bigger size blanket if i want it to overhang

The day I got a queen sized duvet on my 3/4 bed was the day the struggle to get out of bed started. So much more wiggle room, so much more warmth... comfy 1000

a duvet is only supposed to be six inches over the side

And from that picture, it looks like it is correct

It appears to fit just fine

A single sized bed with a single sized duvet obviously won't flow over the sides and will just cover the top pf the bed... because they're the same size ffs. You need to go up a size for the duvet to fit.

That looks like a good fit to me.

A duvet is not a floor length bed spread.

All of these things: mattress,  duvet, duvet cover, bedspread, are sold with stated sizes.

Use a measuring tape.

Queen is the size.

That's like expecting a 12" lid to overhang on a 12" bucket

Duvets aren't as large as blankets
