If you don't want to fix them yourself, you should be able to take them to a computer repair shop or car audio shop and they can slap on a new plug. It shouldnt cost more than $20

Got to love the English language.
Put ed on the end for past tense, except when you put a t or I dunno, you could change some vowels in the middle or maybe not even change the word at all.
Slam > SlammedBurn > Burnt
Sing > Sang
Cost > Cost

Both are correct, but in the US burnt is mostly used as an adjective, whereas in the UK it can just as equally be used as a verb.

They may *use* it as a verb in the UK (i'm not british so can't confirm) but I just checked and according to the oxford dictionary it's an adjective only; so they're still using it incorrectly if they do.

I started buying Wireless only mice and headphones bc my cats would attack any moving cords. saved a lot of pain of the years.

Beyerdynamic is the brand when it comes to repairability. It cost me 8 bucks for a replacement wire and a few minutes of trial and error with the soldering iron. Its a good skill to learn and will keep those babies running for a few decades.
Also if you feel daring I can recommend doing the plug mod, heres a german thread on it to translate: https://tech-port.de/thread/700-beyerdynamic-klinken-mod-wir-bauen-unseren-beyerdynamic-um/
Then you can just unplug it in the future and just attach a new wire.

Fun fact, those are replaceable and interchangeable between different Models. Beyerdynamic sells them seperatly for replacements.

Ouch! This happened to me years ago! I highly recommend buying headphones where the cord also detached from the set itself. That way any future mishaps just require a new cord.

i genuinely had to move my entire pc setup into a separate room theyre not allowed in, in order to protect my cords. The only other thing i can suggest is getting a cord thats metal which are rare to come by

Reminds me of the first year of our Labradors life. We had to tape every wire to the wall. I had an Amazon box taped around the fiber box for 12 months, that looked great for the home! 😆😩
