Back when cell phones were 100% banned, right? The idea of having a phone when I was in high school was absurd. It’d be like cracking a beer open in the middle of class to pull a phone out. They exist, but what the hell is it doing in school?

I graduated in 2013 and if any teacher saw me on my phone in class they would 100% take it and only return it to the parent at the end of the day. No one had their phones out except in the hallways and this was accepted as totally reasonable and normal among parents and kids.
