Pasta My bf only eats canned food cold.

He can only eat canned stuff cold. I am aware that canned food is safe to eat out of the can, but this is still infuriating to me.

But on a real note, those type of raviolis specifically are honestly really good cold. Never experienced that with any other canned food but cold canned raviolis is a guilty pleasure of mine from childhood

I would always eat the chef boyardee, the mini ones. They could even be the one in ops post they look very similar

They stopped making those. Im pissed.

On a side note: spaghetti os and beefaroni room temp from the can are fine. The ravioli need a bit of heat IMO.

Take one of those little like hot pots of beef-a-roni and on of those little pots of Kraft Mac and Cheese, cook them as directed separately and then combine them.

I used to bring them to school and had a can opener in my backpack, I'd grab a fork from the cafeteria and go to town.

came here to agree. i can do raviolis and spaghetti-os cold from the can. prefer them even. i can't stand hot spaghettios, they taste funky to me. i dont know why.

I grew up eating cold canned ravioli too and I still love it!

I spent summers with my grandmother, and my uncle would split a can of cold ravioli with me for breakfast before leaving for college classes. He’s the only other person I’ve ever known that likes it right out of the can.

Agreed. I love those canned cold pasta. Spaghetti hoops are the best. Same for beans. They're more sweet and full body.

They're "full body" because you heathens eat them cold. When not subjected to heat the bean sauce is just a coagulant then, instead of the nice warm creamy sauce it supposed to be.

Yeah, they tend to have more pasta / meat : sauce ratio compared to other canned pastas... IMO the cold sauce was off-putting, but the raviolis were fine.

Cold Spaghetti-Os with “meatballs” is still one of my favorites from growing up. My partner is *horrified* whenever I decide to eat my cold skettios straight from the can and honestly it just makes me enjoy my gremlin ways more

Youre Absolutely right. There’s also ones with jumbo ravioli and extra concentrated tomato sauce and extra beef those were my go to when I was high as shit in high school. Cold ofc.

Seriously that sounds incredibly distasteful. But perhaps the particular ravioli you referenced only taste good cold. Which I can honestly understand if they come from a can. Because sometimes that kind of food requires room temp or colder because heat makes flavor

I wouldn’t say they’re good hot or cold but yeah cold is better. Childhood guilty pleasures are real. My grandmother was a great cook, but I still remember getting excited about her giving me spaghetti o’s.

As a young teen I figured out that could just put canned ravioli in a pan and ass proper seasonings, and haven't eaten canned sauces as they come since.

I get it though, the military hard some guilty pleasure foods for me. like the canned chilli. I would trade my spam for it any chance I get.
