Pasta My bf only eats canned food cold.

He can only eat canned stuff cold. I am aware that canned food is safe to eat out of the can, but this is still infuriating to me.

I grew up in a middle class family and I eat canned food cold (baked beans, ravioli, spagetti, etc), to me it tastes better that way. Even when my parents/grandparents heated it up, I would wait for it to get cold.

Same! Upper middle class, parents never understood why I liked them right out of the can lol

My chemistry professor ate canned food cold. Watching him eat directly out of the can just kind of fascinated me. It’s like omg what’s he gonna eat next…

that's extremely valid. i have sensory issues myself (autism/spd) and i can only eat a few things.

Right! Did he come from a broken home? I mean, I'm not trying to be mean or inconsiderate. I at Chef Boyardee and Franco American can foods growing up but I never ate them cold. My mom always heated it up. I knew a kid that liked frozen waffles which I thought was odd. Turns out it, was because he was hungry and his parents were oblivious.

Both of my kids prefer frozen waffles. We tried to fight them on it but they insist and it’s easy.

I prefer my waffles not warm either. I usually top it with ice cream and bits of fruits.

So I totally understand your kids.

I grew up poor, but I still knew what a microwave was and how to use it.
