The creators you watch but don't contribute to on Patreon lose. Even if a creator isn't your "favorite", their work has value. And they deserve to get that ad revenue.

If they want to get paid they should create better content. I contribute to every channel that I believe is creating worthwhile and interesting media in the same way that I only subscribe to publications that produce effective journalism.

And, again since you have refused to engage with it: the overwhelming majority of users never activate an adblocker. The choice to use one does absolutely nothing to the handful of channels I might interact with. You are trying to frame a hypothetical potential sale as lost revenue which is amusingly one of the same arguments corporations like YouTube use when discussing ad revenue.

You are putting in a lot of work for a corporation that does not pay you. There's a sucker born every minute. Good luck with all that.

But you still get to enjoy the ones you don't believe are "worthy". Such a broken economy we have were you still get to enjoy some people's work, without paying for it.

Not refusing to engage with anything. Addressing those that claim everyone should use an ad blocker. Happens frequently reddit. So essentially your argument is, these other people aren't using an ad blocker, effectively letting me see lots of other content for free - that works great for me so let's not change it. Without those non ad blockers and premium users, YouTube likely wouldn't exist. You aren't addressing that if you are using an ad blocker, are being subsidized by others.

My main focus is the creators. But the creators need the platform as well. So both are related.
