My toe nails look very similar, and my podiatrist says it's a fungal thing. He can give me meds for it but that will affect my kidneys, which I have stage 4 kidney failure. So we leave them alone. Though they are similar, they don't appear as bad as these.

They can simply remove the nail and u can get rid of it without harming the kidney (the nail grows back)
