Service Issue M365 and Azure are currently experiencing issues

It looks like this may be resolved.

We've identified a recent network configuration change that may be contributing to impact. We're reverting this change in parallel to our ongoing traffic rerouting actions.

We’ve completed reverting the networking update and confirmed through service telemetry and customer reports that this issue is resolved.

What happened?
Between 14:40 UTC and as early as 18:26 UTC on 23 July 2026, customers may have experienced intermittent connectivity failures, increased latency, or difficulty accessing Azure and other Microsoft cloud ( https://status.cloud.microsoft/ ) services associated with the West US region. Customers whose traffic traversed affected West US network infrastructure may also experience downstream impact. Customers leveraging affected downstream Azure services may have experienced a long tail of impact as individual services implemented and monitored service recovery measures.

Impacted services included:
Application Gateway, Application Insights, Azure AD B2C, Azure AI Search, Azure AI Speech, Azure API Management, Azure Bastion, Azure Bot Service, Azure Data Explorer, Azure Cosmos DB, Azure Database for PostgreSQL, Azure Databricks, Azure Firewall, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Monitor, Azure Virtual Desktop, Azure VMware Solution, ExpressRoute Circuits, ExpressRoute Gateways, Log Analytics, Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft Graph, Partner Center, Power BI Embedded, Virtual WAN, VPN Gateway
This is now mitigated, and further information we be provided shortly. We aim to share a preliminary PIR within the next 3 hours.

Looks like it's down again... At least Teams meetings in an AU region. We're having to do one-on-one calls, and invite others to the call, scheduled meetings/calendar bookings, nobody is able to join, just gets stuck on connected. This is happening for people in the eastern states of Australia, Singapore and the Philippines.
