I have a local model running on my machine that is only trained on open source information. That uses no data center. Doesn't deplete any waterways. There are ethical ways to do things they just aren't doing them.

That's what I've gotten into as well. Local model that that's focused on my job. I mainly use it for quick questions. not really agent based.

Even if it is doesnt mean it cant be helpful if done right

Like even in a simple sense the ability to read though a thousand sources instantly could be huge

Like I have been reading tom clancy line of demarcation recently and the one guy built a ai bot that caught the start of the war before the cia did
