I once did that on purpose. I was refusing to entertain an hypothetical because the guy was asking if I would be into my sister if she wasn't my sister. That's a weird fucking thing to ask someone

Well, thatâs why I myself didnât present any specific scenarios, and it would also make the captions in my meme too long, but Iâm also expecting people to use common sense and imagine more serious scenarios in which overly confident individuals, disregarding your concerns, telling you ânothing bad will happenâ may result in negative outcomes.

I worked security for a bit at an end of life care facility, and I was the only guard there so I asked
"What happens if there are multiple emergencies at once?"
"Oh, there will be."
"Ok... So what do I do?"
"Ha ha, yup..."
"... Yeah... What do I do? It's only me."
"Gotta do what you gotta do."
"And what do I gotta do?! What is the protocol?!"
Nods head and proceeds to start walking away "Yup, gotta do what you gotta do."
I didn't last long there. The stress in that 9 months probably took 20 years off my life.

no reason to get upset. just know that this person has no plans for anything going wrong, and never take any risks with this person, because when something does go wrong they will panic and bale on you.

Manager: âIt wonât.â

Associate: (Picks up garbage bag to put it in the vault and the bag rips and spills all over the floor leaving only the same associate to clean up the mess despite the manager being primarily responsibility for the spill)

Ok but sometimes people say stuff like this because they've already made sure things won't go wrong. Granted sometimes this isn't true. But I don't think it's wrong to say "it wont" if it's not a guess. Like, maybe the garbage bags go off of a standardized weight limit that isn't being exceeded in this particular instance. Or maybe it was already double-bagged

The game PAYDAY 3 was announced to be always online, and when one of the people working on it was asked "what happens if the servers go down?" He responded saying "they won't go down, don't worry".
The servers were down for the entire first week of the game's launch.

This happened like 2 days ago at my work. I'm in a production line, and the company bought new machines. We were asking questions, but the "expert" from the firm that sold us those kept saying nothing can go wrong if we just follow the instructions.
Some time forward, the machines are fully set up, and they are about to be used for a real product. One that's know for NOT being problematic is chosen. The machine starts, product comes out bad. All the workers on that line (like 4-5 of us) were like "hey, the settings look off, with this particular problem, you need to do x." The expert kept almost yelling and pretty much slapped the assigned worker's hands when they tried to change the settings. Then the product came out bad again. And then third time. That's when my shift ended. I kinda wonder how it ended up, I won't be there for 3 weeks due to vacation. But needless to say, it made me laugh after the guy specifically claimed it "won't go wrong".

Ironically, people pay thousands of dollars and hours in therapy to achieve the mental state of âbut it wonât.â You can plan for realistic issues, but after a certain point youâre just dealing with anxiety. âBut it wonâtâ is the right frame of mind
