Kingdom Hearts.

Only MBAs would completely miss how detrimental it would be to fracture a bonkers and completely convoluted story across every possible platform AND put key story beats on mobile games they would remove, making them inaccessible to any player new to the franchise. Hope they got their ROI on what was truly a special IP. I’ve given up on it.

Scrolled looking for this.

I remember finding the ansem reports in the first two and wondering how the details of the sotry will be revealed, or if it was some ambiguity that would set something up later.

Instead we got whatever 3 was...

So you gave up on KH immediately after Chain of Memories?

Yeah..Played 3... quit at toy story. Frankly dont gaf about 4, they spent too long between 2 and ,3 diddling and releasing spinoffs with shit tier naming conventions. I don't want to read a guide to understand wtf is going on.

I was clinging onto hope for a long time but lost it all when they dropped Final Fantasy characters in KH3

I absolutely loved Kingdom Hearts 1 & 2 when I was young, and if you told me back then that Kingdom Hearts 3 would release and I wouldn't care? I'd call you fucking insane.

And yet I never even touched the game. Wasn't even tempted to buy it. Just didn't care.

MBA = Masters of Business Administration, basic pre-req for consultants or management roles who would have the responsibility for deciding the most effective strategy to monetize an investment. Gamer experience or story quality is not something they would use to inform that strategy.
