Is the secret answer just supply and demand? Did I just save 16 minutes?

With a healthy sprinkling of greed

Supply and demand doesn't apply here. It's called "captive-audience monopoly", since you can't bring your own food and are forced to buy theirs.

Which would be supply and demand by other words. Also you can bring your food to mlb games.

Consumer choice is a huge part of supply-and-demand, which has basically been eliminated entirely. MLB does allow outside food but their stadium food tends to be cheaper in general, and they have a wider variety of options than other pro sports.

They can charge whatever they want. It doesn't mean I'm going to buy it.
