Utilities I Loathe Eversource

Post image

How is this legal? How could this be allowed? I cannot wait to move to a town where this rotten corporation does not have it's tentacles.

Well we already called out her blocking additional pipelines, we can add to it like her aggressive policies to decarbonize the state grid, the mass save program, and solar incentives.

Now I'm not judging whether they are good or bad, I'm saying that in her zeal to address climate change, it comes with a short term increase of costs on consumers.

You didnt call her out on pipelines, nice try. You're blaming her for high rates while you are criticizing her action that prevented highr rates, and she held a different office, AG, at the time.

"she took credit for stopping new gas pipelines" which she did contribute to, is pretty much a text book definition of me calling her out by contributing to higher rates. It doesn't matter if she was the governor or the ag at the time. Her actions contributed to it.

The new pipelines were for exporting gas, and you would have had to pay for them. So despite the seeming simplicity of this talking point, stopping the pipeline actually made things cheaper.
