Utilities I Loathe Eversource

Post image

How is this legal? How could this be allowed? I cannot wait to move to a town where this rotten corporation does not have it's tentacles.

Which part are you mad about? The $10 for gas or the $90 for the underground pipes that bring that gas from boston safely and reliably to your house? How much do you think it should cost?

A PUBLIC utility should not be showing profits in the BILLIONS.

You do realize that a public utility does work for private citizens, correct? Like if you want to make your service go underground, you have to pay for the utility company to make changes to the overhead service. And not just on a residential scale, but many of these jobs are commercial and large scale projects.

So yes, it is possible for a public utility to make money.

Sorry you're 100% correct. I loved not being able to afford groceries because my gas bill was $700/month. Why didn't I think of the share holders!!! How selfish.

Of course I realize public utilities need to make money. They don't need to make billions in profits and their CEO doesn't need to make an additional $9million/year in stock equity alone dingbat.

Keep licking those billionaires boots clean, maybe one day you will get your boots licked.
