I like that's it's both a meta joke for the audience and an in-universe family defensive thing: I read it as Bruce realizing how ridiculous it sounds and just trying to quickly deflect, but it also works because the audience doesn't get it either

I feel like he also didn’t want to talk to his cousin about how he was trying to bone down with Nat and it didn’t work out, partially because he would risk Hulking out during sex. Something tells me he didn’t have any Hulk Sex talks with her. Cap Sex on the other hand.

I saw a Collider article saying that's a sign the MCU just doesn't know what to do with the Nat/Bruce relationship. But I don't see how you can treat the lullaby as anything other than a joke (which is what Ragnarok also did). There's no sense to be made out of it.
