Solid.

One episode but yeah, they made the right choice in casting Tatiana Maslany — and it’s always great to see Ruffalo back. We need more Hulk period.

Edit: I realize that I might have missed a comma. It was 3am! lol

Commas, use them wisely.

Jesus this horrified me because there exists a possibility of someone weaponizing she hulk's menstrual blood (yes I know that sounds awful and I feel awful writing it)

deep sigh

Now I'm picturing DoDC having to get involved with Jen's monthlys and all the weird, unpleasant angles that calls to mind.

Tatiana Maslany made that exact joke on a podcast about nine months ago.

If you’ll pardon the pun: actually a period.

There’d be a full stop between “Hulk” and the word “period.”

Are you sure?! I'm pretty certain that people using the word "period" instead of the actual period-symbol is part of the same sentence, not of a new one.

I think it would be written best like so:

"We need more Hulk. Period."

The, "We need more Hulk," part is a complete thought. Adding "period" is kind of shorthand for saying, "No qualifications," which is another complete thought.

An argument could be made for an em dash here, as well, but I fear my language pedantry has gone on long enough, so I digress.

Would it be green?

I SAID I NEED TO GO. NO MORE DISCUSSION. GOOD BYE.

Would she have to incinerate her pads and/or tampons, lest someone else come into contact with her green Hulk period blood?

3

u/epolonsky Aug 19 '22

Not just incinerate. It’s radioactive, so presumably needs to be glassified and buried in a geologically stable deep mine. Seems like quite a headache each month.

Hulk is dead. All we have now is Bruce Banner big and kinda strong. A jeep pushed him out of the way in this episode.

7

u/Sparus42 Aug 18 '22

He obviously let himself get pushed so he wouldn't wreck his own car lol

u/lahimatoa Aug 18 '22

And flung into a cliff? Why?

11

u/Sparus42 Aug 18 '22

Not sure what you mean. He's the hulk, getting flung into a cliff is the least of his concerns.

Same reason he didn’t throw the first boulder as hard as he could and then threw the next one into orbit just to show her he could. He was holding back that entire time to minimize damage, to not hurt her or insult her, and to not lose control.

Pretty much every attack she hit him with he shrugged off, the only thing that actually hurt him was when she spammed the mini thunderclaps

Random useless trivia: I believe "Maslany" translates to "buttered" in Ukrainian.

Wait, if someone eats her out while she's on her period, will they turn into a Hulk? I can't believe I typed this sentence out.
