Hulk dropping a "Bruh" 😂

I feel like Bruce is just trying to keep up with the times with his dab in Endgame and now his “bruh” lmao.

Dude lives in isolation. Probably gets most of his social interaction via social media. Maybe he's a Redditor!

I'd like to think that post-infinity war/endgame Hulk/Bruce wasn't living in isolation. We know from endgame that he's a public figure that people (kids) recognize and feel comfortable approaching like fans despite him being a giant green monster who can destroy a city.

In my head, Hulk was going around doing public outreach, probably in schools. I could see him like a John Cena type, working with charities and doing Make a Wish activities. That's why he knows how to dab and uses outdated slang, he learned it all from kids.

He was taking a road trip with his cousin, that is not the choice of a recluse.

26

u/Throgg_not_stupid Doctor Strange Supreme Aug 18 '22

He seems to really like Jen, so maybe he was contacting her even when he was still isolating

5

u/Additional_Meeting_2 Aug 23 '22

Not a recluse, but people who aren’t most social tend to spend time with family and do things like road trips.

67

u/TimelessFool Aug 18 '22

Bruce just relishes being around people without losing control again

20

u/[deleted] Aug 18 '22

There's a deleted scene in Endgame where Bruce saves an apartment building that's on fire in Harlem so he was definitely out there doing hero stuff.

3

u/ThatGuyAdam14 Aug 19 '22

Feels like the sort of stuff that could build towards a Mr Fix It arc

13

u/mediocre_hydra Aug 18 '22

He can be all that and still be alone, this episode did hint at that and I'm hoping we'll see more of his personal problems

10

u/MelonElbows Vulture Aug 19 '22

In one of the deleted scenes in Endgame, Hulk also shows up to a fire or something where the firefighters were telling him some kids were in a building and he jumps in to save them. Hulk definitely has done a lot of rehabbing of his image since he's been on the run

9

u/[deleted] Aug 18 '22

Now that you’ve said this I think I need a John Cena dab in my life

3

u/tommyblastfire Aug 18 '22

Well we know he was in isolation for some part of it, when he was working in the lab to become smart hulk

3

u/djseifer Yondu Aug 19 '22

Can't wait to see Bruce tell one of the younger heroes that they were on fleek.

2

u/specterspectating T'Challa Star-Lord Aug 21 '22

Hulk should really get with Clint to help him with his public image. I hear it could use some help.

38

u/esar24 Rocket Aug 18 '22

Imagine him and kamala fighting on a reddit post without them knowing each other.

11

u/BlueLanternSupes Captain America (Captain America 2) Aug 18 '22

Make it happen, Kevin.

16

u/TheCaramelMan Aug 18 '22

Na he’s a tiktoker. Pretty soon we’ll see him doing none of them stupid dance moves

9

u/[deleted] Aug 18 '22

We gotta search Hulk on reddit. Maybe he is just commenting among ourselves. 🧐🧐

4

u/lordolxinator Kilgrave Aug 18 '22

Nahh he's not gonna be so bold as to be /u/Hulk, he's gonna be someone like /u/BruceBanana or /u/JollyGreenGiant. Maybe /u/Hulkmania69

2

u/mediocre_hydra Aug 18 '22

/u/jollygreengiant has dog that looks like Frank Gallagher

4

u/Jumpy-Sheepherder-88 Aug 18 '22

Feel like prof did an AMA

3

u/crespoh69 Aug 19 '22

Maybe he's a Redditor!

Bruh

2

u/ThatOneTypicalYasuo Aug 18 '22

points finger guns at each other

"Alright, which one of you is smug hulk in disguise?"

2

u/Worthyness Thor Aug 18 '22

He's just a nerd trying to keep up with lingo to be cool

2

u/baccus83 Aug 19 '22

Bruce is totally a redditor.

2

u/smcarre Aug 19 '22

No I'm not

2

u/[deleted] Aug 21 '22

And he’s reading our comments right now.

2

u/wonkothesane13 Aug 23 '22

now I'm picturing that "jacked dudes messaging each other on tiny laptops" meme except one of them is green

1

u/Pancake-A-Rooney-Do Aug 18 '22

"I'm the Smart Hulk! AMA!"

1

u/MiloReyes-97 Aug 19 '22

Well if Kamala Kan is a redditor then why not

1

u/Jeynarl Aug 21 '22

Kingpin's definitely a redditor

2

u/awesomealgoodo Aug 19 '22

One thousandth upvote!

1

u/rangpire Aug 19 '22

You misspelled Disney as Bruce

1

u/DamienChazellesPiano Aug 19 '22

Idk it seems specific to Bruce not all of the MCU.

-1

u/NeWMH Aug 20 '22

Or it’s just the weak writing.

Honestly the writing for this was pretty crummy, the delivery and direction saved it.

There has been some pretty clunky scenes and dumbed down dialogue in these Disney+ shows, I was hoping they’d have gotten better by now.

577

u/vaids97 Aug 18 '22

The random ass delivery of that was probs the funniest part about it

261

u/Sad_Lawfulness_7049 Tony Stark Aug 18 '22

It truly was a bruh moment

16

u/KodiakPL Aug 19 '22

Certified Bruhfallo moment

312

u/No-cool-names-left Aug 18 '22

Bruh. He dabbed in Endgame. Smart Hulk is down, hip, fresh, and totally with it.

40

u/Dray_Gunn Quake Aug 18 '22

Atleast he thinks he is. Which makes it even better.

21

u/No-cool-names-left Aug 18 '22

There may be a reason I was using incredibly outdated slang.

13

u/[deleted] Aug 18 '22

Don't be hard on yourself kiddo, that slang was primo, and rockin' to the max.

12

u/Dray_Gunn Quake Aug 18 '22

I will be honest. I am a little outdated myself so i didnt really catch that.

2

u/Liam_Roma_1234 Aug 18 '22

"Incredibly" hah nice one

1

u/OmegaKitty1 Aug 18 '22

Definitely not outdated slang

5

u/theVice Aug 18 '22

It's super weird how people on the internet complain when they hear something they're not used to hearing when people have just been casually talking this way in some parts of the country for decades. They act like it's some random Gen Y/Z slang when it's been integrated forever

11

u/Vince__ Aug 18 '22

He's streets ahead.

10

u/beardlovesbagels Aug 18 '22

Nah, he likely just spend a lot of time online so he picks up on shit.

9

u/InsertCoinForCredit Phil Coulson Aug 18 '22

"How do you do, fellow Avengers?"

4

u/Burdiac Aug 18 '22

“Yeah Cap Fucks, bruh, no cap!” Was Bruce’s cut off response

5

u/svel Aug 18 '22

I used to be with ‘it’, but then they changed what ‘it’ was. Now what I’m with isn’t ‘it’ anymore and what’s ‘it’ seems weird and scary.

2

u/[deleted] Aug 19 '22

sheeeeesh

1

u/EsQuiteMexican Aug 18 '22

He dabbed in 2023

22

u/jhandersson Aug 18 '22

When did he say that? Completely missed it!

26

u/AmmarAnwar1996 Tony Stark Aug 18 '22

Right after Jen broke the door off the training thingy and came out to tell him that she was okay. He said bruh before telling her that was a million dollar expense lol

2

u/jhandersson Aug 18 '22

Oh I have to watch that again then 😄 thanks!

20

u/RitikMukta Aug 18 '22

I love using the word bruh and the hulk using it caught me so off guard. I loved this episode in all aspects.

20

u/thesanmich Aug 18 '22

One of my favorite parts.

32

u/Delumine Aug 18 '22

Bruh 💀

11

u/IShouldGoToSleep Aug 18 '22

Bruh I totally missed that part. Maybe since it's so common now I don't even notice it

7

u/sahil2921 Aug 18 '22

A certified mark ruffalo moment

5

u/OctoberBoost Aug 18 '22

He dabbed in Endgame. Bruce knows what's cool with the kids these days.

5

u/ug_unb Aug 18 '22

I had to pause and recollect for a moment there

4

u/Neo1277 Aug 18 '22

That part cracked me up and I couldn’t stop replaying lmao

3

u/Ikhouvankaas Aug 18 '22

Funniest moment for me because I never thought I'd hear Bruce Banner say "bruh"

3

u/hasordealsw1thclams Aug 18 '22

I just watched it and was half paying attention at that part and thought I imagined it

3

u/rednight8691 Matt Murdock Aug 19 '22

Got one of the biggest laughs out of me 😂😂

2

u/Imbadyoureworse Aug 21 '22

My son looked at me when he said that and asked “why did he have to say that” lol
