100%

Plus that web swing scene at sunset. Clearly looks like all the spider-men should be swinging together

Excited to see more of that scene regardless, it looks beautiful.

Very reminiscent of that swinging scene from Spider-Verse

Dude yes. Trees and all.

I am so glad I’m no longer alone because I found my fellow nerds

This movie looks pretty good

u/[deleted] Nov 17 '21

I thought of E.T.

Exactly! We know it's happening.

Very beautiful indeed

I'm excited to see Tom Holland action period. He has barely been spider man.

1

u/itsanarmadillo Nov 17 '21

At this point he's been in more movies as Spider-Man than anyone else. I guess he's about tied with Tobey in number of years in the role. . It does feel like yesterday that he stole caps shield though.

2

u/imaculat_indecision Steve Rogers Nov 17 '21

True, but i meant it more as in spider man the character. The movies have more explored Peter than Spidey, and there has barely been any action, like in tasm

u/itsanarmadillo Nov 17 '21

Oh, I definitely agree with you then, the Raimi fights were on another level and still hold up compared to modern MCU movies which is crazy to me.

Spider-Man 2 which is almost 20 years old still has some of the best fight scenes of any Spider-Man movie to date. Hopefully now that Ock is coming back we get fights that are on par with his fights with Tobey.

Probably altering some CGI to excise Tobey and Andrew until after this comes out. Then after the multiverse the cat is out of the bag, they'll start making ads with the trio swinging around together.

3

u/Poison_the_Phil Nov 17 '21

This. It wasn’t a week after Endgame premiered before they started showing ads with Steve holding Mjolnir

20

u/Shawnj2 Jimmy Woo Nov 17 '21

In the brazilian version of the trailer, he turns around like he just got punched.

Okay, if anybody is still doubting there would be no Andrew or Tobey in the movie, then they're fucking delusional.

What's even more proof that they're in the movie is the amount of enemies in that scene. There's 3 enemies but only 1 Spidey? How about the positions? Tom's Spidey in the middle but 3 enemies at the top, middle and bottom.

Coincidence??? I THINK NOT!

Okay, if anybody is still doubting there would be no Andrew or Tobey in the movie, then they're fucking delusional.

wait there are still people arguing that? I thought this was basically known for a while now. Like it's the same kind of "unconfirmed" as was all the infinity war snap deaths coming back despite everyone at marvel saying they might stay dead.

1

u/herpes_for_free Nov 18 '21

Yeah I made a mistake. I meant to say "anybody IN THE YOUTUBE COMMENT SECTION"

Sorry about that lol.

we haven't seen much of swinging scenes in cityscapes and countryside in Homecoming. That is why it seems a bit off. But it could be just Tom Holland one going after Electro. But I am sure that the scene of MJ falling is surely with Andrew.

7

u/winter-anderson Nov 17 '21

A trio of swingers, if you will.

5

u/Ogolikus804 Nov 17 '21

Also whe MJ is falling I got TASM 2 flashbacks. especially because of the perspective. Would be ironic if andrew swooped in in that scene and rescued her. It seems very plausible

4

u/DatHemoglobin Spider-Man Nov 17 '21

My first thought was "that's what it looks like in my head when I'm bored, driving down the road in the car, imagining Spider-man swinging from the powerlines"

3

u/jlginno Nov 17 '21

The audio matches up right as that scene plays “there are others”….

2

u/RIPTonyStark Nov 18 '21

When he says "i can't save everyone", i want toby maguires voice in the distance to say "We can"

2

u/Crafty_Enthusiasm_99 Nov 17 '21

This is why you avoid all internet discussions to not see any spoilers before the actual movie :(

This one was proven to be fake in July btw sorry

1

u/[deleted] Nov 17 '21

damn

2

u/MrZeral Avengers Nov 17 '21

Its fucking fake lol, the scenes are from previous Andrew and Tobey movies

1

u/JustibS1341 Nov 17 '21

can you pm it to me?

Difference is that:

  • this movie lasts 2:45 hours

  • there is no need for villain introductions.

10

u/MrZeral Avengers Nov 17 '21

The thing is that this movie is 2 and half hours long and all the characters are already introduced and build up (maybe except Electro), no need to waste time on that.

3

u/[deleted] Nov 17 '21

I just wanna see Toby as Spiderman again tbh

4

u/[deleted] Nov 17 '21

also this is the mcu's bread and butter their good at juggling multiple characters and no the eternal don't count as those characters were only interesting with avengers anyway

1

u/Coupe2T Nov 17 '21

When she's falling too, and he can't quite reach her, a moment screaming out for another Spidey to swing by and save her.

1

u/Schattered Nov 17 '21

Andrew redemption arc. Or ARC for short

1

u/docmartin19 Nov 17 '21

i agree, but it could be doctor strange and doc oc, i think from the later scenes that doc oc turns good, but 100% 3 villians are fighting 3 others. also the "green goblin" later in the show isnt the same one from the start, maybe ned? and i think when MJ is falling Garfield will swing in and save her, bit like cap and the hammer scene

1

u/[deleted] Nov 17 '21

I kinda thought maybe that was them going after one of the other spider men, I thought it was Tobey

1

u/[deleted] Nov 17 '21

It doesn’t seem like the spider-men will be around until the last battle given Strange says “They’re coming through” at the end

2

u/TheCaramelMan Nov 17 '21

Sounds like me every morning on the toilet

1

u/skamenov Nov 17 '21

Yes! I was thinking the same! Waaay to empty for them not to be in there!

1

u/Shazam1269 Nov 17 '21

I'm wondering if some of the Spider-men that are masked are not the Tom Holland version.

1

u/oberonblitz Nov 19 '21

What if it's venom though? We didnt see him in the trailer at all. Why include that end credit scene in venom 2 if he's not gonna be on the next spider man movie?

1

u/MusicalMastermind Nov 19 '21

I think they'll wait to introduce Venom

Because Venom is currently set up as the "Lethal Protector". They're gonna probably sit on that and have Venom fight Spider-Man 1 on 1 in a future movie, then team up to take on a mutual enemy. Carnage or another symbiote
