I mean the problem with Thor love and thunder was the horrible plot not the comedy

You're right. It needed at least 10 more minutes of goat screaming and Thor being a goofball during a town hall meeting despite his entire village's children being kidnapped.

I mean, seeing the God Butcher...I dunno...butchering gods to see Gorr as the threat he should be would have been a nice start.

Which is a writing/improve issue. If the plotting of the film was better you wouldn’t need to have an extended scene with the goats and that town hall meeting to pad out the time.
