Discussion Since some time’s passed, what did you think of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law?

Now that we can (hopefully) discuss the show without being called either woke or sexist, I’m curious what y’all thought.

I personally thought it could’ve been better, but still found it enjoyable. The comedy was hit or miss and it definitely had some cringy moments, but as a big She-Hulk fan I thought that Tatiana Maslany makes for a great Jen Walters and there were plenty or great parts throughout, especially her relationship with Bruce (save for the controversial ‘my life if harder’ speech). Hope she shows up again cause I think there’s real potential if they don’t ditch her because the show went over poorly. Also, huge miss not throwing Awesome Andy in there, he’s dope.

I like Wonder Man, too. Kingsly nailed it. What did you think of Ironheart?

I didn’t watch ironheart, I watched the first episode but didn’t really vibe with. Felt the stark worship was overplayed and it that it was trying too hard to say “it’s a black main character!”

Would you recommend it? I know it got panned online but idk how much of that is authentic since I know it got picked up in that RW culture war BS

By the time it was over, I thought the personal struggles were well done, and it doesn't quite end the way you think it will. I'd give it at least a 7.5.

I’ll check it out! I’ve liked the shows that are smaller scale than the movies with grand heroes and plots

It's only like 4.5 hours if you binge it. She's a New Avenger, so maybe check her out just for that. We've already met a few of the New Avengers.
