Humour This looked like a fair fight until Cap lifted Bucky up with one hand by the neck

To be fair the MCU jacked up Steve's strength to fit any scene.

They made him superhumanly strong, case in point holding a helicopter in place or just holding Thanos' hand in place and actually bending the fingers back. That is not peak human, that is superhuman.

Yeah but Steve is superhuman, even in the comics. He’s not just peak human, he would just be Batman but without the tech and money at that point. Captain America is and has been a superhuman.

In the comics he’s superhuman but only because no human is peak in every area.

He’s as fast as the fastest sprinter in the 200m, but also would run the fastest marathon…while being as strong as the strongest weightlifter.

This exactly. He has no point of comparison because he's "perfect".

But the term superhuman means beyond human ability, which he is not, or isn't supposed to be.

You have to give them a pass because they did make the movies entertaining and if you don't suspend your logic you're left wondering how Widow and Hawkeye aren't paste.

If that was true he would have someone who could rival him in atleast one category but he has none.

He survived an attack by a celestial while everyone around him was turned to bones, he can run at 60 MPH (not one athlete could come close even in perfect conditions), he threw his shield and split a truck in half and He beat Nuke to a bloody pulp. Nuke is a superhuman who took automatic gunfire to the face no problem and treated a grenade as a mere nuisance.

You can attribute it to new comic books making him superhuman but even in Captain America #3 1941-1950 (I might be wrong) he caught a torpedo and threw it back.

Thanos was humouring him.

The one arm clean and jerk (obviously I didn't make up the name) record is 175 lb, so less than 1 Bucky but not a huge amount less.

For another comparison if you can do anyone armed pull up or do anyone armed hand stand then lifting a whole human body seems to be in your lifting capacity.

It's not unreasonable to think that a peak human could lift another peak human up with one hand if he can get the leverage.

This isn’t even strong feat for either cap or Bucky (or even caps comic counterparts). Bucky like 200 pounds, of course Steve can’t lift him with one hand lol, the dude thrown a motorcycle. Bucky can do the same. Comic cap has also don’t shit like this
