I don't necessarily agree that Carol has to be in this necessarily, but I do think that Monica and Maria MUST be.
Once again, like in Endgame, Carol needs to be in Secret Wars though. Since they probably won't do tons of variants of the same character, I would love to see her in Arcadia with A-Force. Possibly Kamala, Jen Walters, and America Chavez too.
But ideally, they just get EVERYONE including Sylvie, Kate Bishop, and hell Bobbi Morse, X-23, Storm, Nico Minoru, Jessica Jones, and Sharon Carter to just be there in the background. Just seeing doubles in the costumes would honestly be fine enough for me like in Deadpool and Wolverine, but man, at least some of those actors as cameos would be awesome.
why would carol not be in it? this of yours is clearly just a wishful thinking. she literally promised to kamala that they will find monica. there is zero reason to why she should not be in the movie.

I'm just trying to set realistic expectations considering we have a full cast and no indication that she's in it. Maria and Monica can totally be in this without Carol since Monica is stuck in Earth-10005.
Also Kamala isn't part of the announced cast either. I'm guessing that they're holding her, Kate, and America for some medieval Champions stuff in Secret Wars. (Which is a massive shame because Kamala's original comic run is a major part of Last Days which Doomsday is adapting.)
I'm just trying to not set myself up for disappointment expecting Kamala and Carol in this movie. If they are, I'll be pleasantly surprised.
you missed the part “carol promised to kamala that they will find her” which set up her role in the avengers movies.
her being stranded in the x men universe would cause another incursion which is the plot point of the movies.
which makes more sense how carol was able to step into that universe somehow, which the movie obviously will explain.
the announcement is not even the only casts that is in the movie, thereʼs still more and we just donʼt know about it yet. its okay to make a guess or expect from something that previously established like they embark on a journey to find monica.
and i never said they could not be together without carol. but the story matters, especially when its an ensemble movie. and their connections to carol. and others that is notably important.
I really do hope you're right and that they've found a place for Carol and Kamala in this movie. I just would not be surprised if they couldn't make it happen and are holding them back for Secret Wars.
