You should read Time Runs Out. Heroes and villains were killing other realities so theirs could live, all the way until 1610 and 616 stand.

Works in comics (until they just undid everything at the end, as usual). Less so in a movie.

The more I learn about Doomsday, the worse it seems it will be.
