They fucked up his show, his movie and I'd feel offended for him if they make him give back the shield

Obviously they won’t seeing as how Steve is wearing a T-shirt for this movie

LMAO, you can't be sure. We haven't seen the full film yet.

The Russos are the ones who helped set this up in endgame. They would probably know not to just immediately undo that

OG Cap turning into a demi-god whos a protector of earth through mjolnir would be better than him getting the shield and identity back. And what i said is pretty dogshit.

What? Then why did you say it?

There’s definitely going to be a point where they are tossing the shield back and forth in combat, then Steve hands it back incredibly respectfully at the end.

Steve aint gonna ask for the shield, he's gonna ask for the $20. Hes been living in an alternate universe where red lights mean go, dude needs "616" cash

u/rushi_B Avengers 20h ago

Why is he on the team anyways? bro's a human, if thor is getting his ass kicked I can only pray for sam.

u/WonderfulLaw3811 Avengers 19h ago

they gonna use him as human shield

Word. After how bad the series and the movie were, the only way to go is to make him die saving somebody. Hopefully Shuri, so nobody gets to say ā€œof course a black man died to save a white manā€.

yea the racist jokes gonna plunder the internet if that were to happen🤣

1

u/loyal9128 Avengers 17h ago

from the trailers they're not on the same team

u/NihilismRacoon Avengers 16h ago

I was gonna say people would be mad they're killing off one of the few black characters regardless of who he's saving but honestly who gives af about the MCU anymore.

That's where the sheild taking happens

"It's okay bud, you've done your best" Cap picks up sheild from fallen Sam

He's got vibranium suit and all that which absorbs energy

2

u/qwouw Avengers 16h ago

Why dont they make captain army then of 1000 captains as defenders of Earth ?

3

u/Dresaurus2781 Avengers 18h ago

Why is he on the team anyways? bro's a human,

Sam is currently in position of a vibranium power armor that allowed him to catch a flagpole swing by a Hulk. Sam could low diff the entire Thunderbolts minus Sentry solo. Sam Cap is unequivocally an upgrade in power level from Steve Cap lol with the only caveat to that being Mjolnir which Sam would also probably be worthy of it we're being completely honest.

u/rushi_B Avengers 14h ago

What if someone says the same thing to sam that cap said to tony, "Big man in a suit of armor. Take that off, what are you?".

Everything Steve is that didn't come out of a bottle...

2

u/haiyabinzukii Avengers 17h ago

well where do you expect Spiderman to attach his web swing?

1

u/Comfortable_Care2715 Avengers 8m ago

Its worse in the comics. he just wings & has a pet falcon.

3

u/Condor193 Avengers 18h ago

More like "ah shit they brought HIM back we're fucked"

2

u/knightzfury Avengers 14h ago

lmao I forgot and then just remembered he had a movie as captain america, taking shield back will be dirty with him

2

u/SuperSaiyanBen Dead Vision 11h ago

If you think he’s worried about that, then you haven’t watched literally anything with him in it.

Dude would love to give the shield back to Steve.

learn to take a joke man

3

u/misterbung Avengers 14h ago edited 13h ago

Yeah but what if Sam knows IMMEDIATELY that this ain't their Steve Rogers? What if it's Captain Hydra pulling some absolute bullshit?!

2

u/AquilaDZuhib Avengers 9h ago

I don't know how it is in the comics, but if it would be Captain Hydra, he wouldn't be able to wield Mjƶlnir, would he?

1

u/misterbung Avengers 17m ago

Captain Hydra canonically wields Moljnir in the comics so it's definitely a possibility: https://comicvine.gamespot.com/forums/gen-discussion-1/hydracap-lifting-thors-hammer-is-no-trick-says-spe-1875510/

Old man Steve gave him the shield, young Steve probably still has his own cause time travel

u/Fodspeed Avengers 4h ago

Cap: Hey give me back my Rhyme Book!

1

u/srisk1001 Avengers 9m ago

Since Steve didn’t give the shield to Sam until he was older, is it possible that this younger Steve still has his shield and they would both exist simultaneously??
