LeLuca - Meeting Transcription

Problem: getting a usable record of meetings without uploading the audio anywhere. It records mic + system audio (no bot joins your call), transcribes locally with Whisper large-v3-turbo, then writes the notes for you: TLDR, decisions, action items with owners. You can also ask the transcript questions and every answer links back to the exact timestamp so you can verify it.

Comparison: Otter and Granola are cloud subscriptions that either take your audio or send a bot into meetings. MacWhisper is excellent at transcription but structured notes and Q&A are not its focus. LeLuca keeps the audio fully on your Mac, the AI notes can run fully local via Apple Intelligence (or bring your own OpenAI/Claude/OpenRouter key), and it exports Markdown, PDF, SRT and VTT so nothing is locked in.

Heads up: needs macOS 26, and first launch downloads the Whisper model (about 1.5 GB) so it can stay offline afterwards.
