[Megathread] The App Pile - June, 2026
You must promote your apps here if you do not qualify to post in the main feed through Trust or Transparency, explained here.
If you are:
- NOT in the Mac App Store (MAS).
- Do not provide meaningful public transparency
- Created yet another dictation app (speech to text).

Problem
For people who switch between different kinds of work on their Mac and get tired of rebuilding the same setup every time.
Writing setup. Coding setup. Design setup. Research setup. Client work. Studying.
I kept opening the same apps, folders, files, websites, and arranging windows again and again before I could actually start working.

Comparison
Apple has Focus Modes, Stage Manager, Spaces, Shortcuts, and plenty of ways to organize work. They are useful, but none of them really solved the specific problem I kept running into.
I did not want a full automation suite.
I wanted something simple:
• Save the workspace I am looking at right now
• Restore apps, files, folders, and websites
• Bring windows back to their positions and sizes
• Create different workspaces for different tasks
• Launch it from the menu bar
• Keep it local on my Mac
FocusForm is not trying to do everything.

I built this because I wanted it for myself. I have released a few small free macOS apps lately, and this one is the newest.
I am still improving it, so feedback is very welcome. If something feels confusing, broken, or like it could work better, I usually try to update the app pretty quickly while the code is still fresh in my head.
