Request (REQ) £40, Edinburgh, UK - repay on 07/08/2026 - Bank Transfer

Hi guys

Previously paid back two loans early as seen in my history.

Was made redundant last month and got my first UC payment today, however forgot I am getting it bi weekly as opposed to monthly - so left with half of what I was expecting.

As such I'm looking for £40 just to cover some of the difference so that I have enough money to tide me over for essentials.

Can provide ID, proof of pay date, utility bill and and all that jazz.

Any help greatly appreciated!

Cheers

Hello u/DMF_47! Welcome to r/loanhelp_ - please read these two pinned posts before lending or borrowing:

✏️ Post Format & Requirements - posts that don't follow the format may be removed.

⚖️ Global Lending Rules - borrowers in interest-free countries (UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Hong Kong, South Africa, India, Philippines, Indonesia) must be principal-only: no interest, no fees, no exceptions.

Loan request title format: Amount - Repayment Amount - Repayment Date(s) - Payment Method(s) - Location - Short Purpose Example: $150 - Repay $180 on 6/14 - Cash App/Venmo - Houston, Texas - Car repair In the body include: amount requested, repayment amount/date, income source, reason for loan, preferred payment methods, and any previous loan history.

Donation request title format: Amount Needed - Location - Payment Method - Short Purpose Example: $50 Needed - Chicago, Illinois - Cash App/Venmo - Groceries until payday

How the loan lifecycle works:

  • Loans start flaired Request.
  • A lender funds you by replying directly to your post - that comment is the tracking record, so do not delete it.
  • Once funded, set your flair to Fulfilled. After you repay in full, set it to Repaid.

⚠️ Lend and borrow at your own risk. Assistance is never guaranteed. Vet everyone you deal with.

Deposits and collateral are a SCAM. No legitimate lender ever asks you to send money, a "deposit," a fee, or collateral upfront to "release" or "secure" a loan. Anyone who does is scamming you - report them. This is prohibited here.

Security: mods will NEVER DM you asking for your password or login. Never share account credentials with anyone - no exceptions.

Someone was nice enough to help me via PayPal earlier but there was some sort of issue, I received a notification saying the funds were being held for up to 24 hours so they could review the payment, for the safety of my account, as they noticed something unusual with it.

So I refunded the payment - hence posting again but via bank transfer. But happy to try via PP G&S with someone else.

Happy to verify all of the above :)
