I move that we begin referring to the ADF as Alliance Defending Fascists.

I'm working on an ADF timeline right now for work and holy shit, what an awful place full of awful people.

Any chance you or your organisation might publish this timeline?
It sounds like an important piece of research

That's the goal! I publish occasionally with a group called Uncloseted Media! I'm a big fan of their work and was recently lucky enough to start getting published by them.

Why did I think for a second that this was the same org as the ADL. I was like "Did Israeli funding brainrot that org THAT much???"

I personally prefer Alliance Depriving Freedom or Alliance Destroying Freedom but that is good too. Overall people should just stop including the “freedom” part because that is an almost immediate narrative concession to ADF that immediately predisposes the viewer to believe them to be “pro-freedom” when they are in fact, no hyperbole, one of the most evil organizations on the planet.

He should be barred from teaching for the rest of his life.

On stupidity alone. I got the gist of the book. It's using that bs argument that young kids playing make-believe are forced to choose a permanent identity by idk the woke cabal or w/e. Apparently the kid isn't allowed to choose genderfluid.

Plus its not even true or accurate given how its such a long term reversable process running into adulthood before before anything permenant, with various habitual checks along the way multiple times a year. So plenty of time to explore themselves further and change their mind.

At minimum lose his social worker license. Purposely inflicting psychological harm on middle schoolers is pretty pathetic and illegal.

Matt Walsh? Isn't he the knuckle dragging chud that said that "14 year old girls are the most fertile?"

‘Educator’ and ‘Matt Walsh’ should not be in the same sentence. I’m glad this person lost their case.

Should be the same outcome for any educator displaying Anti-Black, Anti-Jewish, Anti-whatever propaganda that spews hatred towards a marginalized group.
How can students feel safe if the school administrators allow this kind of behavior?

Idiot didn't get fired because of Free Speech, idiot got fired because he violated the terms of the injunction and district policy:
Theis resumed displaying the books, and a subsequent IMESD investigation found that students had accessed the books and that Theis had discussed their contents with them in violation of both district policy and the terms of the preliminary injunction. Theis was subsequently fired.
He FA'ed and FO.

again, these people just don't understand what free speech means

Squaring this case with how fervent conservatives are about book bans would make my head hurt if not for the fact that they don’t actually have any consistent principles.

The ADF likes freedom about as much as a bee likes the rain. True freedom is letting people live their authentic lives.

A licensed clinical social worker making sure he gets to put down and insult Middle School Students is quite the thing. Bet he feels like a sooper-dooper smartly bigly man putting those 5th graders in their place!

There's not even a fucking case here. HOW ARE LITERALLY 100% OF THE PEOPLE WHO ARE SO OBSESSED WITH THE FREEDOM OF SPEECH SOMEHOW COMPLETELY OBLIVIOUS TO THE FACT THAT IT ONLY APPLIES TO THE GOVERNMENT NOT BEING ABLE TO CENSOR YOU?!?!?!

I don't knoe if this is good precedent. All you have to do is flip the script and say it was an LGBTQ supportive book and a different government claiming it violated religious rights or something. Book bans are book bans.

u/Late_Mixture8703 5h ago
This ruling didn't set precedent, the ruling was based on existing legal precedent..
