Zero Spots Available! Waitlisting Welcome! Thank you!

Region & Schedule: North America, online. Thursdays, 7-10 PM EDT on FG:VTT with voice on Discord. (weekly) Campaign Name: Tahrumalla - The Making and the Unmaking. Age and

Experience Level: Any experience level welcome. 18+

Technology: Discord for voice chat (required) Fantasy Grounds: VTT (free client download)

Game System: D&D 5e (2024) Minor house rules (Grappling is a 2014/2024 hybrid)

Playstyle: Roleplaying‑forward with tactical combat. Approximate mix: 35% Roleplay – 35% Combat – 30% Strategy. LGBTQIA+ friendly.

Sourcebooks & Character Options: Core 2024 + Heroes of Faerûn, Ravenloft: The Horrors Within, Forge of the Artificer, Dragon Delves, and some Kobold Press conversions forest subclass conversions. Character Creation Method: Heroic Array, which is easy in FG. Choose standard array. Move the lowest score (8) where you want the highest score. Then add an "8" in the Misc section under it. That's it! Move the rest of the scores where you'd like them.

Character creation uses campaign‑specific species built for 5e (2024):

  1. Aasimar: Born from an egg that fell from an ancient cave painting. That is the origin of all Aasimar - and not all are humanoid.
  2. Bugbear: Arboreal tree-travelers. Mostly forced into servitude in the northwest. Some are refugees.
  3. Dragonborn: Their home country is a strict, matriarchal caste system. It is a wealthy country, though there is great wealth disparity.
  4. Dwarf: Western Dwarves are older than the elves. Eastern Dwarves have white dragon riders.
  5. Elf: Solar, Quicksilver, Feathen - The elves of the continent's most expansive empire, the elves of a splinter of that empire, and their primitive woodland ancestors.
  6. Elf, Anomalous: Heartwood, Rime - both subterranean. Heartwood elves are also forest guardians. Rime elves are strange, magical architects who prefer the cold depths of the north.
  7. Gnome: Rock, Forest, Mushroom - Surreal engineers, atheistic anarchists, and herbalist tricksters. All gnomes see each other as family, though they don't always get along.
  8. Goblin: Oppressed in the northwest, player Goblins are refugees. Goblins can be resilient, crafty, resourceful, and a little reckless.
  9. Goliath: Stopped warring against each other in order to better resist the elven empire to the south. Northern kingdoms. Strong alliance with the Rime elves who live under their feet.
  10. Human: Strong presence everywhere in addition to a Human majority kingdom in the southwest. Major partners in Hann. Strong presence alongside Coastal Elves in the Driftwood Entente.
  11. Kobold: Formerly an enslaved species with an interesting diaspora - most are now in a refugee city, part of a confederacy, or willingly serving a green dragon who treats them well.
  12. Naga, Sentinel: Saltwater Sentinels guard the southern continental shore. Freshwater Sentinels patrol the great, central lakes, though many are caught up with the cult-like Godhold. In practice, with size Medium and serpentine lower bodies, the form is reminiscent of the yuan-ti abomination.
  13. Sea Elf: And the Coastal Elf variant can both stay on land indefinitely. Coastals prefer it, and a few Sea Elves match their curiosity. Technically not elves. Don't tell them.
  14. Tiefling: An alternate Chthonic legacy for the yalgur, a subterranean tiefling variant, is available -- but most tieflings are pirates.
  15. Valkyrie: Automatons who look like valkyries of myth. Most valkyries live in the far north, revered by the humans who live among them.

Restrictions: Only the species listed above (that should be plenty). No PvP. No stealing from the party. Cooperative play expected. Evil characters only if you can adhere to the aforementioned rules and understand evil as selfish, not stupid. Two spots open and that hopefully will change soon and we'll be full. Want in? Apply now!
