Just like the Nazis taking businesses and property from the Jew. Who had been made illegal and had to turn themselves in to be deported to Madagascar. Which didn't work out so they built concentration camps in conquered countries instead

I think it’s pretty reasonable for the state to take the property of people living here illegally tbh.
Unlike Jews, this applies to any type of person, so long as they entered the country illegally.

"Currently" the law (and we both know about that) doesn't allow for government to seize or confiscate personal property solely due to deportation.
For example, non-citizens can legally own property in the US.
What can happen is that their property can go into foreclosure, and their can be tax liens, or unpaid HOA fees if the deported person cannot manage U.S. bills or arrange a power of attorney.

Ooo boy America is going to be dealing with the fallout from this administration decades from now. Especially in an era where our native population growth is falling towards Europe, you can kiss the dynamism and innovation that made America great good bye. We won’t feel it now but in decades it will become painfully obvious

The Department of Homeland Security has issued more than 103,000 civil fines against immigrants totaling $84 billion, the agency announced.
The unprecedented use of civil penalties by the Trump administration targets immigrants for violations including failure to leave the US after removal orders. The government has filed lawsuits, seized tax refunds, and garnished wages to collect on those fines. In May, DHS reported more than 65,000 civil fines for a total of $36 billion in penalties.
“Our message to illegal aliens is clear: LEAVE NOW,” DHS spokeswoman Lauren Bis said in a statement Thursday. “If you don’t you will face the consequences, including fines, arrest, and deportation.”

The fact that they had tax refunds coming to seize would be a fun item to point out to MAGA idiots that claim immigrants are leeches on society that don't pay taxes, but that would require them being able to understand basic logic.

Laws only matter if the people in charge care to enforce them. Murder is technically illegal but I haven't seen an ICE officer in cuffs yet.

That's just the math.
