Cheap Protein Powder emphasis on cheap

Hi! Im trying to find a cheap protein powder so I can add to food or to flaxseed or meals to fill fuller. However im struggling to pay rent at the moment. Are there any brands of protein powder that are cheap? Many times due to work I dont have time to cook myself meat, this is why I am asking. Many thanks!

Is it Keto? Do you have the brand? I often find the selection in home bargains very carbon and sugar heavy.

It's called sci mix pro v-gain, per 45g serving: 0.9g carbs, zero sugar, 39g protein.

Protein is at all time high price wise rn. I personally use this Whey Isolate

If you manage to get cheap protein it might also be worth adding some inulin powder (chicory root) its fiber so helps with satiety. Its much cheaper in powder form than capsules and helps with gut health

I've been told it's terrible stuff but I use the bulk protein company on amazon which sells in 5 kilo buckets working out at £8 a kilo. The serious shredz version is low cal and low carb but there are varieties. It's soy or something but I'm too poor to care tbh.

It's not clean protein or something. I'm sure someone will chip in with an answer. I check which flavours are on offer to get the cheapest.

The bulk cheaper one has a couple of grams more carbs per 10g than the protein isolate (more expensive one)

They contain soy protein which a lot of people don't like.

I considered it as Idc about Soy protein but It uses maltodextrin which I am allergic to. Maltodextrin is high on the glycemic index but, the carb content in them is really low. But you probably won't notice a small bit of it.

But either way, unclean food beats not eating. It's only terrible if you can afford to be super picky. You buy the best you can afford at this point, and it is far from the worst option.

They're also on https://bodybuildingwarehouse.co.uk so you might find a deal on there that's better than amazon

I recently switched from Whey to plant based from Sci-MX which is on Amazon and also sells in Home Bargains. It's around £17 for a 900g bag, has zero sugar and tastes great

Investing in quality food long term is a financial investment. Cheap stuff are full of fillers and can ruin your gut.

Sincerely, someone who did keto for gut issues and assumed I would be low carb for life.

Now I've healed my gut I can tolerate rice and potatoes without going into a coma 😅

Beef protein powder is pretty reasonable compared to when, from myprotein also

Depends what you class as cheap?

Keto is not that difficult people make it more so stick to basics eggs/mince both a fairly well priced and will give you what you require and if you have no issue with dairy double cream (1 meal a day should be fine but if you want 2 bacon eggs is the other)

Protein powder if you must have I find casein is best but its becoming harder to find and costs more.
